New Song Medical Outreach

In October our clinic staff partnered with a local ministry working with the Chinandega prison. Our goal was to bring health care and to share the Good News with the men there. The men received medical care and 7 of them trusted Jesus to forgive them and give them a new heart. Also, 5 men returned to walk with him, and 12 men asked to receive Bibles.

Talk about Physical and Spiritual Healing!

I was so inspired by this day and encouraged to see how hungry these men were to hear about the things of the Lord. They wanted prayer; they wanted forgiveness; they wanted hope; they wanted to hear and to be heard. Ultimately, they wanted to know the Lord and what a blessing it was to bring Jesus to them!

I was reminded of what the Bible says in Matthew 25:

34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

If you would like to partner with us in this new outreach, only $250.00 a month would support outreach clinics to benefit the prison and the poor communities without medical care, as well as provide them with  Bibles. In this manner, we are able to show the love of Jesus in a real way. And seeing changed lives by the grace of God is what its all about!

  1. Can’t wait to be a part of the ministry next time I come visit and I’m so glad God has opened the door for New Song to bless these men who suffer terrible conditions in the prison. Nothing opens a heart more to the gospel than to be a blessing to those who everyone else would throw away. God bless New Song. We love love guys!
